I am a mixed media artist based in the California Bay Area. I am currently working toward receiving a BFA in Pictorial Arts at San Jose State University.

 

I explore the imagination and the fantastical through watercolor and ink drawings. My work is drawn from my deep connection to storytelling and fantasy literature. I examine the nature of emotional connections to stories, whether they are fiction or lived. Each drawing describes a specific story, memory, or emotion. Through the ethereal quality of watercolor, I weave my personal connection into these pictorial spaces. The dreamlike and imaginative inform my invention of space, light, and color.
